Michael Ewing along with his wife Katie have been pastoring Calvary Assembly of God here in Carthage NY since January of 2020.
One of their many passions is having a large family. They are a family of eight with six children in total: Judah, Zachary, Hadassah, Luke, Anastasia and Sophia.
Pastor Michael is a man of vision and desires to see the lost found, new believers discipled & mature believers trained up for greater works in the Kingdom of God. Teaching the full gospel and taking his congregation into the deep wells of the word of God are his first priority.
Evangelism and Missions are his heart as he himself came to know Jesus Christ while alone in a small village called Blessing in Afghanistan during his time serving in the military as a combat medic.
Both He and his wife Katie studied Spanish abroad in Costa Rica for 8 months before becoming Missionary Associates in Yurimaguas, Peru from 2015-2017.
Michael and Katie also feel a call to deliverance ministry as the Lord has moved through them in multiple occurrences to see those with demons set free.
Katie’s heart has always been to see the power of the Holy Spirit manifested amongst the people of God as they seek Him. Her passion to draw people into the “Throne Room” through proclamations of praise, prophetic worship and songs of deliverance is evident. She desires to use worship as a tool to teach people how to seek the presence of God and make room for spiritual gifts to be used.
She loves ministering to women of all ages as she leads Women’s Ministry, and enjoys using her hobby to create videos to highlight all the good things God is doing at Calvary.
